Following a selection of pages from their artist’s book LOVE ME, LOVE ME NOT: CHANGED NAMES (onestar press), each mirror “reflects” upon a page within the book, plucking petals off the past to reveal the impossibly thorny stems of city names while celebrating the multilingual, carnivalesque complexity readily eclipsed today by nationalist struggles for simplicity and permanence.
