John Armleder's practice has taken many forms over more than four-decade career. He has worked in visual art, created performances, founded galleries, run publishing houses, and served in the Swiss Ministry of Culture, as an advisor. His sculptural work departs from a conceptual base, often presenting found materials and objects with open delight in form and design.
